Registers

The registers in the event reporting system fall into two functional groups:

 The Status Registers contain information about the status of the instrument.

 Enable Registers determine whether selected types of events are reported to the

Status Registers and the Event Queue.

Status Registers

There are six types of status registers:

 Status Byte Register (SBR), page 4-5

 Standard Event Status Register (SESR), page 4-6

 Operation Condition Register (OCR), page 4-7

 Operation Event Register (OEVR), page 4-7

 Questionable Condition Register (QCR), page 4-8
